Given :

The surface area of a spherical ball =
616cm^(2)

To find :

The radius of the spherical ball

Solution :

For the surface solution first, we need to know the surface area of the sphere.

The surface area of a sphere =
4\pi r^(2)

616 = 4\pi r^(2) \\616 = 4(3.14)r^(2) \\616 = 12.56(r^(2) )\\616/12.56 = r^(2) \\r^(2) = 49\\r = √(49) \\r = 7

So the radius for the spherical ball is
7cm^(2)
