Answer:

1) 0.63 moles/L

2) 43.87g

3)

Step-by-step explanation:

1)Molarity of solution = Number of moles/Volume of solution

Given, the number of moles= 1.47

volume of solution= 2.31 litres

putting values in the formula

we get Molarity = 1.47/2.31 = 0.63 M

2)Molarity = Number of moles/Volume of solution

Number of moles = given weight/molecular weight

Given= volume = 1.50 litres

molarity= 0.500 M

Let given mass = x

Molecular mass of NaCl is =58.5 amu

So putting values in formula =

0.500 = x/58.5*1.50

So value of x will be = 43.87g

3) molarity and volumes of two solutions are given

Formula for calculating final molarity

M = M1V1=M2V2/V1=V2

Given= M1= 0.5 M V1=200mL

M2= 0.7 M V2= 500mL

Putting values in formula we will get

M = 0.5*200=0.7*500/500+200=Final MOlarity = 0.642 M

Key concept - Molarity- It is defined as the ratio of number of moles of solute to the volume of solution in litres.
