In the triangle we are given Angle A,B andC

a) To find the value of x we will say

angle A + angle B + angle C = 180(sum of angles in triangle add up to 180)

35 + 52 + 3(x+2) = 180

87 + 3x + 6 = 180

3x + 93 = 180

3x = 180 - 93

3x = 87

x = 29

b) To find the measure for angle C we need to substitute the value of x

angle c = 3(x+2)

= 3(29+2)

= 3(31)

= 93
