The rate of change can be calculated using the formula:


rate\text{ of change = }\frac{f(b)-\text{ f\lparen a\rparen}}{b-a}

The rate of change of the table


\begin{gathered} rate\text{ of change = }(2-1)/(1-0) \\ =1 \end{gathered}

The rate of change of the graph


\begin{gathered} rate\text{ of change = }(2-1)/(1-0) \\ =\text{ 1} \end{gathered}

Hence, we can conclude that the rate of change are equal
