Answer: nth term of the geometric sequence = (n^-1)/2

Step-by-step explanation: The nth term of a GP is Tn = arn^-1

where a is the first term 0.25

r is the common ratio 0.5/0.25 or 1/0.5 or 2/1, which is 2

Therefore the nth term = 0.25 x 2 x n^-1

= 0.5n^-1

=(n^-1)/2

Answer:

1st term(a)=0.25

2nd term(t2)=0.5

common difference (d)=0.25

nth term(tn)=a+(n-1)d

=0.25+(n-1)0.25

=0.25+0.25n-0.25

=0.25-0.25+0.25n

=0.25n
