Answer is in the graph

First we put the equation in slope intercept form y = mx + b.

y = 3/2x -2 is our equation

3/2 is our slope (y/x or rise over run)
-2 is our y intercept

Start by graphing y intercept (0, -2)
Which is a -2 on the y axis.

From there, rise 3 (up) and run 2 (right) and plot your point. Draw your line.

Your solution is where the line crosses the x and y axis. ( 1 1/3, -2 )
