A Triangular Prism with equilateral triangle faces has Volume of 84cm³ and a Length of 12cm. Find the base area of this prism.

Got this on my test, don't know how to do it lol.

Answer:

7cm²

Explanation:

volume of a triangular prism=1/2×b×h×l

1/2×b×h=cross sectional area

84cm³=C.A×12

C.A=84/12

base area=7cm²
