y = 2x + 3 ----eq(1)

3x + 2y = 12 ----eq(2)

Substituting value of "y" from eq(1) into eq(2)

3x + 2(2x + 3) = 12

3x + 4x + 6 = 12

7x = 12-6

x = 6/7 ---eq(3)

Substituting value of x or eq(3) into eq (1)

y = 2(6/7) +3

y = 12/7 + 3

y= 12 + 21/7

y= 33/7

Therefore, x = 6/7 and y = 33/7
