Answer: ≤7 tickets.

Explanation:

Robin can go to the movies less than or equal to 7 times this month.

Robin was given a $40 monthly allowance. She wanted to save 12.50% of that $40. 12.50% of 40 is 5. (X/40 = 12.50/100. Cross multiply. X=5)

Each movie ticket is $5. In order to save $5 or 12.50%, Robin can only buy $35 dollars worth of tickets (or 7 tickets).

So, the inequality is ≤7.
