My family's American dream is to have a comfortable life with financial security and the opportunity to pursue our passions. We want to be able to provide our children with a good education and the chance to reach their full potential. We also want to be able to give back to our community and help those in need.

The opening scene of Lorraine Hansberry's A Raisin in the Sun depicts a family struggling to make ends meet and trying to make their dreams come true. The conflict between the family members is evident as they try to decide how to use the insurance money they have received. The tension between the family members is palpable as they try to decide what is best for them and their future. Despite the conflict and tension, there is a sense of joy and hope as they look forward to the possibilities that the money could bring.

My family's American dream is similar to the one depicted in the opening scene of A Raisin in the Sun. We both want to be able to provide our children with a good education and the chance to reach their full potential. We also both want to be able to give back to our community and help those in need. The difference is that my family is fortunate enough to have the financial security to pursue our dreams, while the family in the play is struggling to make ends meet.
