What was the Columbian Exchange and how has it effected you personally?

Basically this question is two parts. First, you will need to build on the verbal answers you articulated at the end of class yesterday (just what the columbian exchange was). The Columbian Exchange greatly affected almost every society on earth, bringing destructive diseases that depopulated many cultures, and also circulating a wide variety of new crops and livestock that, in the long term, increased rather than diminished the world human population.
