The amount of time this route will take include;

Daniel's Time Brandon's Time Zoe's Time____

207 seconds 196.2 seconds 217.83 seconds.

In Mathematics and Geometry, speed is the distance covered by a physical object per unit of time. This ultimately implies that, the speed of any a physical object can be calculated by using this formula;

Speed = distance/time

By making time the subject of formula, we have the following:

Time = distance/distance

The amount of time this route will take Daniel on the BOARDWALK can be calculated as follows;

Time = 327.6/3

Time = 109.2 seconds.

Time on the SAND is given by;

Time = 489/5

Time = 97.8 seconds.

Total time taken by Daniel = 109.2 + 97.8

Total time taken by Daniel = 207 seconds.

By applying Pythagorean theorem, the total distance covered by Brandon is given by;

Distance =√(327.6^2+489^2)

Distance = 588.60 feet.

Therefore, the time taken by Brandon = 588.60/3

Time taken by Brandon = 196.2 seconds.

Since a distance of 244 feet is chosen for Zoe, the total distance covered is given by;

Distance =√(327.6^2+244^2)+245

Distance = 653.48 feet.

Therefore, the time taken by Zoe = 653.48/3

Time taken by Zoe = 217.83 seconds.
