An angle measures 176.2° more than the measure of its supplementary angle. What is the measure of each angle?

The angles are 178.1° and 1.9°

Explanation:

Supplementary angles add up to 180°
Let the angles be x and y with x being the larger angle

x = 176.2 + y
x - y = 176.2 (1)

Since they add up to 180 we also get
x + y = 180 (2)

Equations added: (1) + (2)

x - y + x + y = 176.2 + 180

2x = 356.2

x = 356.2/2 = 178.1°

y = 180 - 178.1 = 1.9°
