A cylinder has a volume of 155.43m3 and a radius of 3m. What is the height of the cylinder to the nearest tenths of a meter??

V = r²h where,

V is the volume of the cylinder

r is the radius of the cylinder

h is the height of the cylinder

in this case, h is the value we want to find, h, r is 3m and V is 155.43m³ !!

155.43 = × (3)² × h

17.27 = × h

h = 5.4972117...

= 5.50m (3.s.f) = height of cylinder
