The slope is the rate of change for A, so that is 3/4.

For B, because we know it's linear and because the x values increase by one, we just find the difference between two y-values. If you were finding the difference between any two y-values, you'd divide it by the difference in x coordinates, but let's use the values under x = 0 and x = 1

The rate of change for B is 4.

Therefore, B has a greater rate of change because 4 > 3/4
