Describe how the Franco-Prussian War created hostilities that contributed to World War 1.

With France’s defeat in 1871 the German Empire was proclaimed and it saw Germany rip away Alsace-Lorraine from France so this causes major tensions between the two and a world war could be started over France wanting to regain territory that was clearly there’s. Hope that answers your question.
