Answer:

Lets flip the equation so that it is more aesthetically pleasing for us

y + 3 = 21 + 11

Ok first of all, we cna add 21 and 11 to get 32

y + 3 = 32

We want to get y all by itself, so we are going to take away the 3.

We are going to put that 3 into the 32, but remember we are subtracting :)

y = 29

There is your answer! :)
