Because the terms that are being multiplied have the same base (3) you would simply add the exponents and then make that the exponent of 3.

Add exponents 2/5+-7/5= -5/5 = -1

So that would be 3^-1

Whenever you have a negative exponent, you move it to the bottom to make it positive:

1/(3^1) which is just 1/3 or A
