During the Industrial Revolution, populations began to grow rapidly due to a number of different factors. For starters, advancements in healthcare and sanitation led to significantly reduced mortality rates, while increased agricultural productivity enabled a larger population to be sustained with fewer workers. Additionally, the introduction of new technologies and improved transportation methods allowed people to travel more easily and settle in new places, leading to greater population growth. Finally, industrialization also increased wages and living standards, incentivizing people to have larger families.
