King Henry VIII, whom ruled England from 1509 to 1547, broke the country away from the Roman Catholic Church.

What is the best way to rewrite this sentence?
OA. King Henry Vill, whoever ruled England from 1509 to 1547, broke the country away from the Roman Catholic Church.
OB. King Henry Vill, who ruled England from 1509 to 1547, broke the country away from the Roman Catholic Church.
OC. King Henry Vill, which ruled England from 1509 to 1547, broke the country away from the Roman Catholic Church.
OD. King Henry Vill, whomever ruled England from 1509 to 1547, broke the country away from the Roman Catholic

OB

OA makes no sense since it says "whoever," which means there is no person mentioned

OC refers to the king as a "which" that is grammatically incorrect.

OD says "whomever" also makes no sense since it is also not referring to anyone.

OB is the only reasonable answer :)
