write w in the form w=ai+bj

Solution

for this case we know that the magnitude of the vector is 15 and the angle is 115. So we can find the components on the following way:

a= 15 cos (119) = -7-27

b= 15 sin (119)= 13.12

And then we can write the following solution:

w = -7.27 i + 13.12 j
