acceleration due to gravity = 9.8m/s²
F1=mg=10*9.8 = 98N
acceleration = 2m/s
F2=ma=10*2=20N
total force = F1+F2
=98+20 N
=118N

Answer: Given m = 10 kg and . F = 20 N. Thus, the force required to accelerate the object upward direction is 20 N.
