Let's suppose that the 264 feet is the 100%, then we can find the percent increase with a rule of three:

\begin{gathered} 264ft\rightarrow100\text{ \%} \\ 375ft\rightarrow x\text{ \%} \\ \Rightarrow x=(375\cdot100)/(264)=(37500)/(264)=142.04 \\ x=142.04\text{ \%} \end{gathered}

Since 375 ft is 142.04% of the original size, we have that the percent increase of the yard is: 142.04-100=42.04%
