x = -1 and x = 4/3

Explanation:

y = 3x+2

y = 3x^2+2x-2

You then equate the 1st one to the 2nd:

3x+2 = 3x^2+2x-2

3x^2-x-4 = 0

Solve using quadratic formula you get

x=-1

x=4/3
