You graph a linear equation by using slope intercept. y=mx+b. m is the slope, rise/run, and b is the y intercept, where the line crosses the y axis. So if the line crosses at 2 on the y axis, b is 2. And if you get a point every 1 unit up and 2 units right, your slope is 1/2. So the equation would be y=1/2x+2
