2,910 people attended the convention on the two days combined. Since 4 times as many people attended on Sunday as on Thursday, we can set up the equation:

4x = 2,910 - x

Solving for x gives us x = 1,455. This means that 1,455 people attended on Thursday and 4 × 1,455 = 5,820 people attended on Sunday.

hope this helps:)
