AS per given by the question,

There are given that 9 red marbles, 7 blue marbles, 5 yellow marbles and 3 white marbles.

Now,

The total numbers of marbles in a bag is;

9+7+5+3=24

Then,

The probability of getting white marble is;

P=\frac{\text{ total no. of white marbles }}{\text{Total number of marble}}

So,

\begin{gathered} P=\frac{\text{ 3 }}{24} \\ P=(1)/(8) \end{gathered}

Now,

According to the question,

The probability that the marble is not white,

Then,

P(\text{Not white marbles)=1-P(white marbles)}

So,

\begin{gathered} P(\text{Not white marbles)=1-P(white marbles)} \\ P(\text{Not white marbles)=1-}(1)/(8) \\ P(\text{Not white marbles)}=(8-1)/(8) \\ P(\text{Not white marbles)}=(7)/(8) \\ P(\text{Not white marbles)}=0.875 \end{gathered}

Hence, the probability that getting not white marbles is 0.875.
