Answer : Slope = -3, intersection = 11

We need to isolate for y here.

From 9x+3y=33, we need to derive a y=mx+b equation.

First, we take away 9x as follows:

9x+3y-9x=33-9x

The positive and negative values of 9x cancel our on the y side, so we are left with 3y=-9x+33

Now we need to get rid of the y coefficient:

(3y)÷3=(-9x+33)÷3

We need to effectuate the division on both sides to cancel out the coefficient, so we are left with y=-3x+11
