Solving the Question

2H_2 + O_2\rightarrow 2H_2O

From the balanced chemical equation, we know that 2 moles of H2 is required to react with 1 mole of O2:

(n_(H_2))/(2)=(n_(O_2))/(1)

We're also given that we have 0.37 moles of O2:

(n_(H_2))/(2)=(0.37)/(1)

Solve for moles of H2:

n_(H_2)=(0.37)/(1)*2\\\\n_(H_2)=0.74

Answer

0.74 moles of hydrogen react with 0.37 moles of oxygen.
