Now, the expression for the length of PQ is,


PQ=\sqrt[]{(x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2}

Substitute the values.


\begin{gathered} PQ=\sqrt[]{(-6-(-6))^2+(7-(-8))^2} \\ PQ=\sqrt[]{0+(15)^2} \\ PQ=15 \end{gathered}
