packages of ice cones for $2.50 each.

she spent $43

so,

3.5H + 2.5 P = 43

And, She purchased 14 items

So, H + P = 14

So, the system of equations could be used to determine how many of

each item Alicia purchased will be :


\begin{gathered} 3.5H+2.5P=43 \\ H+P=14 \end{gathered}

so, the answer will be option A
