Sanjay stacks three boxes in a pile. The heights of the boxes are 25cm 36cm and 47cm. They are all measured correct to the nearest centimetre. What is the greatest possible height of the stack of the three boxes?

The greatest possible height of the stack of the three boxes is the sum of the heights of the boxes, which is 25cm + 36cm + 47cm = 108cm. This is the maximum height of the stack if each box is placed directly on top of the other.
