We need to draw a line segment with a slope of 5/7

There are infinity number of line segments with the same slope

So, we will let two points to draw the line segment

The rule to choose the points must follow the relation between x and y

which is the equation of the line:

y = mx + b

where m is the slope

So,


y=(5)/(7)x+b

The constant b here can be chosen any number

let b = 1

so,


y=(5)/(7)x+1

when x = 0 , y = 1

when x = 7 , y = 6

the points are ( 0 , 1 ) and ( 7 , 6 )
