x = 3, y = -6

2x=0+6

2x=6

2*0=y+6

y = -6

for x, just make y=0 and solve,

for y, just make x=0 and solve,

The x intercepts:

Replace the y with zero

2x=0+6

Remove the 0

2x=6

Divide both sides by 2

x=3
