The answer is A.
a + 4b -24
Distribute the 4 to each term
(Multiply each term in the parentheses by 4)
1/4a • 4 = a
(4 • 1/4 = 1)
4 • b = 4b
4 • -6 = -24
replace all the terms and you get the expression
a + 4b - 24
