Explanation:

So this is a pretty simple problem once you figure it out. All you have to do is plug 4 in for y.

So....

6y^2 - 7y + 9 becomes 6(4^2) - 7(4) + 9

Step 1. 6(4^2) - 7(4) + 9

Step 2. 6(16) - 28 + 9

Step 3. 96 - 28 + 9

Step 4. 68 + 9

Step 5. 77
