We have:

3x + y = 9

y = 3x + 6

3x + y = 9 ⇔

⇔ 3x + (3x + 6) = 9 ⇔

⇔ 3x + 3x + 6 = 9 ⇔

⇔ 6x + 6 = 9 ⇔

⇔ 6x = 9 - 6 ⇔

⇔ 6x = 3 ⇔

⇔ x = 3/6 ⇔

x = 1/2 = 0,5

y = 3x + 6 ⇔

⇔ y = 3 × 0,5 + 6 ⇔

⇔ y = 1,5 + 6 ⇔

y = 7,5
