Education is what some consider the building blocks to a child’s mind. Children attend school for an education, building communication skills, and learning responsibility. When children reach working age, many employers look for educated and reliable workers. In life, people need to be able to communicate effectively, whether it revolves around relationships, friendships, or business manners. When children attend school for an education, they are also taking in important life skills which will benefit them in the future. While working does benefit children in the means of earning money, children should also be able to enjoy their childhood while they still can. Having a work load put on top of school work and other life instances can become very stressful. Letting children attend school rather than worrying about work at a young age will benefit them more later on it life.

Answer:

Education should be the main priority for the youth because it sets them up for success later in life. If a child prioritizes work over school, this could hinder their learning, causing them to not reach their full potential. In the long run children will be grateful for mainly focussing on school. Good grades in school helps them earn more opportunities and sets them up to have a successful career where they can help out society and make good money. According to a study by University of Miami and Nova Southerneastern university, children who earn good grades in high school are more likely to get a college diploma and make good money as adults. Another study proves that students who score high on their exams make up to 40% more then students who fail them. As a highschooler, prioritizing work over school may make you more money in the short term. But in the long term, good grades and a education set you up to have a better career.
