If A=y-4 and B=y+1, find the expression that equals 3A + 2B in standard form.

So, we know that:

A = y-4

B = y+1

We will now substitute and simplify the expression:

3(y-4) + 2(y+1)

3y - 12 + 2y + 2

=> 5y - 10
