Answer:

The equation = y + 6x = 0.

Explanation:

(3,18) and (6,0).

Gradient (m) =

(y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

= (0 - 18)/(6 - 3) \\ = ( - 18)/(3) \\ = ( - 6)/(1) .

therefore the gradient (m) is = -6/1 or -6.

the equation of the quadratic function

= (y - y1)/(x - x1) = m

From the question y1 is 18

and x1 is 3.

= (y - ( - 18))/(x - 3) = ( - 6)/(1) \\ = (y + 18)/(x - 3) = ( - 6)/(1) \\ = y + 18 = - 6(x - 3) \\ = y + 18 = - 6x + 18 \\ y = - 6x + 18 - 18 \\ y = - 6x \\ y + 6x = 0.

Therefore the equation = y + 6x = 0.

note/ from the question y and x were not even a value.
