HELP PLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM BEGGING YOU THIS IS DUE TOMORROW

( middle school physics)

How does the output work compare to the input work for a machine that has efficiency?

a) equal to 100%

b) less than 100%

2) Pedro and Brittany design a mechanical device that will move desks from one classroom to another on the floor above. They measure the forces and distances and calculate the input and output work. If their calculations show that the input work equals the output work is their calculation correct? Explain.

I would appreciate if you answered this please

Answer: B) Less than 100%

Step-by-step explanation:

In this system the mechanical device will move desks on the floor. The floor (unless defined as frictionless) will have some sort of friction resulting in loss in energy. This will reduce the total mechanical energy making it less than 100%.
