Dylan is building a brick house. He built 3 walls using 803 bricks each. Another wall used 998. A fireplace took 247 and the chimney took 452. Dylan works out that he has used a total of 2,500 bricks so far. Does that sound about right?

3 walls using 803 bricks each is (3 x 2409) = 2409, then add another 998 for the extra wall, 247 for the fireplace and another 452 bricks for the chimney. 2409 + 998 + 247 + 452 = 4106, so Dylan is wrong.
