Answer:The sky is a light shade of blue, similar to cerulean, when the sun is out.
However the sky can change to red or orange when there is a lot of oxygen in air and can also be dark gray when there is moisture- when it rains for example.
At night when there is no sun the sky is a dark bluish black. The reason why the sun is blue on a sunny day is because the color is because the white light scattering in the sky and all light refracts except blue.
