The more people who live on Earth, the warmer the Earth will be. Since there is a higher population, more food needs to be produced,more clean water needs to be sourced and shipped out, and more trees need to be cut down for lumber to build homes. This means that soil will be damaged from over-harvesting and there will be less clean water. There also will be more cars and factors that emit gas and carbon into the air, which causes the Earth to warm up, melting the ice caps, decreasing the amount of clean water there is on Earth, and filling the oceans with viruses and diseases. So for the time being, the more people there are on Earth, the harder the lives for everyone else will be. Limiting and making sure that the population stays at a steady rate will decrease the negative effects of climate change.
