Answer:

The probability of the number being even would be 50%

fraction:
(1)/(2) decimal:
0.5

Explanation:

First you have to look at the amount of odd and even numbers you have:

Even:
22,24,26,28,30,32,34,36,38,40

Odd:
21,23,25,27,29,31,33,35,37,39

Once you know that, count the amount of each number you have:

Even:
10

Odd:
10

You can then take the value you want to know and put it as the numerator of a fraction (top value).

Add the two values you have [
10+10=20 ] and put that as the denominator of the same fraction (bottom value).

You will be left with this:

Fraction:
(10)/(20)

SIMPLIFY:
(1)/(2)

Then put it in whatever form you want :)

decimal:
0.5 fraction:
(1)/(2) percent:
50%

hope this helps you! :))
