Answer: Our inequality is 2.50x+4=15

The first thing we should do is build an equation. We know that Luella has to pay a fee of 4 dollars to rent the skates, which means we will add this one time amount to our cost per hour. Next we learn that Luella has to pay 2.50 per hour to skate and has a limit of 15 dollars. Our equation should look like this --> 2.50x +4= 15

If we were to solve our problem we can first subtract 4 from each side of our equation, leaving behind this --> 2.50x=11

Next we must divide both sides by 2.50 to isolate our X .Our equation will look like this now x=4.4

What we are left behind is x=4.4 Since you can not rent our skates for 4 and .4 hours, Luella will only be able to skate for 4 hours. She will have 1 dollar left over.

Once again - Our inequality is 2.50x+4 = 15

I hope this helped & Good Luck <3 !!!
