Explain why you think people still discuss and listen to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream"

Because of what measures were needed to make it a better place. A central theme throughout the speech was the importance of everyone being treated equally.

Not too much to go off of here because we don't have the speech the author is referring to, but I'm sure this is applied universally for all his speeches about black rights and freedom.

MLK Is still talked about present day because MLK helped pass the civil rights act (1964) and the voting rights act (1965). MLK's one of the strong few who stood up for what he believed in (freedom for black lives).
