You will need to use the internet to do some research on small businesses. One great source is the U.S. Small Business Administration. But we all know that good research requires more than one source, so try to find a few other sources for information.

Using the information you found, create an informational flyer that will be handed out to graduates. The flyer should list the pros and cons of entrepreneurship to help a new graduate decide if that path is right for them. You want your flyer to catch their attention, so try to make the title interesting! Underneath include a brief paragraph that explains the difference between entrepreneurs or small business owners and those who work for an established company. Then list advantages and disadvantages of owning your own business. Try to include at least three valid arguments for both.

Then see if you can formulate at least one or two questions that might help graduates to see if they have the qualities that lean toward entrepreneurship or if they would be a better fit as an employee. (For example, “Can you handle budgeting or are you better when someone else manages money?”)
