What is the minimum amount of exercise i can do to stay physically fit? Why? im a freshman btw

personally i think the minimum amount of exercise is walking or running for long periods of time and on a daily basis can make a big difference.this is because our body doesnt really use up the fat stored until we use up all the glucose and by walking for a long period of time you ll eventually use up all the sugar and start burning fat.this will allow to stay fit and healthy without doing complex exercises such as weights.
