In the passage from Magic Elizabeth, the author creates a vivid setting and two distinct characters, Mrs. Chipley and Sally. Think about the details the author uses to establish the setting and the characters. Write an ORIGINAL story about what happens when Sally arrives at Aunt Sarah's house. In your story, be sure to use what you have learned about the setting an the characters as you tell what happens next

Answer:“I wonder what she’s like,” Sally said, “but that doesn’t mean I should go to her house.” Sally was afraid, she thought, “what if my aunt is evil or she doesn’t like me.” Her face was traumatized and just then Mrs. Chipley looked over at her.

Explanation:“Sally, you are going to be fine. I’m sure your aunt will love you. You have nothing to be afraid of.” Sally heard Mrs. Chipley, but the problem was she didn’t believe Mrs. Chipley. No matter what, Sally could not be convinced that her Aunt Sarah was a good person. She would do everything in her power to convince Mrs. Chipley not to take her to her aunt’s house.
